Deanna P. Rush

Deanna Rush was born in New Hampshire and lived there
until becoming a resident of Florida in 2006. She served three terms in the
NH House of Representatives (2000-2006) representing the towns of Pembroke
and Chichester. She also served on the Resources, Recreation &
Development Committee and on the Education Committee.
She was a teacher by profession in NH Public Schools
for 24 years. As a member of the Merrimack County Delegation, she served on the
Executive Committee and was Chairperson of the Merrimack County Corrections
Budget Committee.
Deanna is a past State President of the American
Association of Family & Consumer Sciences. She is also a past President of
the Pembroke Woman’s Club and served as the Public Policy Chairperson for the
NH General Federation of Women’s Clubs. She was on the Board of Directors for
the NH Women’s Lobby and a member of the Legislative Caucus for Young Children.
She has a BS Degree from the University of New
Hampshire and a Master Degree in Education from Framingham State College in Massachusetts.
She is a member and past Regent of Else Cilley DAR
Chapter and was DAR Stated Librarian from 2001-2004, and State DAR Chairman for
Women’s Issues 2004-2007. She is married and has two children and three grandchildren.
